I have always been captivated by the magic of movies and the. Growing up, movie nights with my family were a regular occurrence. Every time we would sit down to watch a movie, I would always be the one asking, “How did they do that?” dissecting every scene apart shot-by-shot, especially when it came to special effects makeup. I would recreate what I saw to determine how the magic was done. Having hands-on courses to teach me how movies are made from start to finish has given me a new perspective on filmmaking. The academic programs and professors at the University of Tampa have been a huge part of my professional growth. Professors Curry and Walker gave me great advice on improving my scriptwriting style. Professor Walker’s producing course really helped me understand all the behind-the-scenes material that goes into making movies. Their teachings have made me want to put in the time and effort to improve my work, and I am so grateful.

I excel in collaborative environments, whether part of a team or independently. I enjoy working in teams because they create a supportive environment where I can flourish and engage in meaningful discussions with others to gain valuable insights. Over the past six years, I have honed my special effects makeup skills through self-teaching. I’m meticulous and pay close attention to every detail. My goal is to deliver high-quality on-camera results for every project, regardless of my role.
